SGA Meetings Discusses New Policy on Club Funds

By: Armondo Jimenez

The main topic discussed at the senate meeting on September 18th, 2014 was about the change in the policy of club funding.

The FCA decided the clubs would no longer have their money saved in their reserves. It was said the FCA believed the clubs never used the money in their reserves; therefore they did not need it.

One club in particular this policy affected is the Veteran’s Club. They have been raising funds each semester to place in their reserves to move the Vietnam Memorial on the campus.

The senate voted to start a committee to fix problems similar to the Veteran’s Club.
