Various clubs around campus are giving back for the holidays. If anyone is interested in participating or giving back keep an eye out for boxes and crates around the campus building.
Sally James and the business club is adopting 6 families consisting of 18 people to help out for Thanksgiving and Christmas. All of the families have at least one member who attends FM.
John Van Bladel and the think peace club are doing toiletry products.
Julie Mihalcik, hands for animals is collecting dogs and cats items such as; food, blankets, litter, cleaning supplies, etc. to be donated to James Brennan Shelter and The Regional Animal Shelter. There would be a box located outside of c221, also a small box in Julie office. Also the club will accept donated items during their bake sale November 14.
Christie Crawford and the Community Outreach Club has adopted a family for the holidays, through the “Fulton and Montgomery County Family Counseling Center”. They are collecting monetary or gift card donations as well as gift items. Donations will be collected until the last week of class, December 12th.
Students of the World Club will be fundraising for the international Red Cross to help bring relief to those suffering internationally from the Ebola disease after thanksgiving.
